Case Study

Reggaeland was our first event welcoming 35,000 attendees per day across the weekend, with our largest deployment of staff to date we provided 25 management staff, 66 response staff, 115 SIA licensed staff and 110 stewards as well as a dedicated team of 10 back of house staff members dedicated to the events artists and production staff as well as 5 close protection officers across the site as well. As well as this due to the family nature of the event AIB introduced a new role to our team in the form of a safeguarding officer and dedicated response team to help support missing and vulnerable children and lone people. The preparation for this event took over a year of planning and working alongside the client were able to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for the attendees.

The following week we saw 37,000 people attend Chase & Status at the bowl. Working with the same deployment plan as the above event this time seeing an additional 20 response and security staff added to our deployment due to the nature of the event. To improve the efficiency of our queuing system due to the slightly larger capacity numbers for the initial entry point we stationed a portion of our response teams behind our SIA searchers at the queue. This meant anytime one of our scanners went off the attendee was able to have a pat down search away from the main queue of people so that we could keep the crowd flowing. Again running smoothly across the event with medical issues being our largest challenge all of which were dealt with efficiently by our medical partners.

Bludfest was one of our most challenging event to date, with temperatures reaching over 30 degrees and limited if any shade in the venue or entry ways our positions had to be adapted throughout the day with many response and stewarding staff being on hand to assist with medical incidents and ensuring water was distributed to all. Bludfest saw 18,000 attendees meaning our deployment was slightly smaller however to ensure the integrity of the venue we increased our response and management teams roaming patrols to make sure our presence was still felt by the general public. Our back of house team for this event was however increased due to the nature of the fans we had in the venue. Working with our client and production teams as well as research on the fan base allowed us to better understand what we were going to be met with on the day.

  • In 2017 AIB began providing security for London Stadium in the form of response supervisors and team members. As we began developing as a company and our reputation improved, we eventually provided around 10-15 response supervisors, the security staff to fill those teams, a pitch manager and the response manager [...]

  • AIB have been working with ProjectOneX, formerly OneEventUK, for around five years, across that time we have seen over 30 music events ranging from drum & bass, house, EDM and pop. In November 2024 AIB provided over 65 staff to Marshall Arena as Sanctuary Forever took place in Milton Keynes. [...]

  • AIB have worked closely with JBM music since 2021 where we provided security for their first Reggaeland event. Now nearly 5 years later we have seen the event develop from an 8,000-capacity crowd to a 50,000-capacity crowd in an event that runs across the weekend. JBM, whose events are largely [...]

“We have been working with AIB for several years. We have called on a range of services from guarding, to events security and personal protection. AIB have always responded to our requests in a professional way and addressed operational issues as they arise.”
