London Stadium
In 2017 AIB began providing security for London Stadium in the form of response supervisors and team members. As we began developing as a company and our reputation improved, we eventually provided around 10-15 response supervisors, the security staff to fill those teams, a pitch manager and the response manager for the entire stadium as well as two response coordinators. This led to us supplying around 150 members of staff at our peak of service delivery. Our teams were present for every West Ham game as well as a range of other sporting and music events that were being held at the stadium.
In 2020 we were providing match day security and preparing for a number of large music events across the summer until the pandemic hit. Since then we have been rebuilding our experience with events closer to our head office and slowly working our team and supervisors experience back up to today.
At the start of the 2024/25 season AIB returned to London Stadium taking on stewarding and response roles. We slowly built up our team numbers and as our reputation built started providing staff for the corporate hospitality area of the stadium. On a match day we provide around 40 members of staff as well as our company rep that is always on hand to support London Stadium staff rectify issues or mobilise our teams through the stadium where necessary. We also have a spares system in place with members of staff local to the area so that in any instance of illness or no-shows for a shift they are able to be immediately covered.
Our stewarding staff, both licensed and unlicensed, have had to deal with a range of issues while at London stadium all of which however were minor and supported by response teams and supervisors within each zone. Our staff ensure they are greeting customers and giving directions whenever needed as well as supplying a physical presence to help promote safety within the stadium.
As we have developed our working relationship with London Stadium we have seen a large uptake in our staff that are interested in working there. We have been recruiting in the local area, holding interviews in the Stratford Hotel to ensure staff are able to make it to the site location and to avoid excessive transport from outside of London.
During the contract we have implemented training to ensure all our staff meet the requirements of the contract and clients. We ensure that they don’t just understand our expectations of the role but that they are working for our client on behalf of us which requires the same attention to detail. We bring people in at zero cost to the stadium to ensure our staff are aware of where they need to be and how to act while on shift.
Within our current hospitality position within London Stadium, our staff are there to support and secure those with approved access. They do this by being a physical presence on the doors, lifts and escalators so that everyone is aware of the places they are able to go. Corporate hospitality calls for a different level of professionalism, something are staff strive to achieve each week.

Our response teams deal with issues on a regular basis within the stadium, one recent incident our teams assisted with was made aware to us by the police. An individual was being chased by police throughout the stadium who asked for assistance. One of our response supervisors assisted in the chase, catching up with him just before he was able to exit the venue. He was then handed over to the police who subsequently arrested the individual for trespassing.

The standards of our staff members are vital to a successful service delivery, in this case we ensure that we have a stock of ties and jackets so that all staff are dressed appropriately. We communicated with the stadium to guarantee the standard of our staff fits with that the stadium expects. We work alongside the quad managers to make sure the staff are working up to their standards as well as the management teams to ensure our staff are respectful and in line with the experience needed for each area.
